All our vacuums use HEPA filters as part of their filtration systems.

For anyone who is not familiar what HEPA means – it is the acronym for:

HIGH – EFFICIENCY PARTICULATE AIR, a type of air filter.

To qualify as HEPA (by the government standards), an air filter must remove 99.97% of all particles greater than 0.3 micrometer from the air that passes through.

 

For a HEPA filter in a vacuum cleaner to be effective, the vacuum cleaner used by us are designed so that all the air drawn is expelled through the filter, with none of the air leaking past it. This is often referred to as "Sealed HEPA" or sometimes "True HEPA."
